上周我要做一条CineGear的剪辑，大概需要10个访谈类视频。CineGear是好莱坞的电影制作设备展，我们去那卖相机。用那些破下载器要折腾一整天（下完还要转码……还要挂字幕免得以后再听写一遍……）最后才能开始拉选段
Last week, I needed about 10 testimonial videos to make an edit for CineGear, a Hollywood movie production trade show where we’ll be selling cameras. It takes a day to use janky downloaders (plus encoding the videos after download... plus attaching subtitles...) and finally pulling selects.

把链接收集好之后，Claude直接下载了4K视频，从AV1转码到MP4，还挂上了字幕。然后我让Claude拉选段，一个XML文件导入，开剪。全程大约一小时。还行。
After gathering the links, Claude downloaded the videos at 4K, transcoded from AV1 to MP4 and attached subtitles. From there I asked Claude for selects. One XML file later and I’m editing. All of it done in about an hour. Not bad.
为了快速拉选段，Claude研究了好莱坞电影人会怎么用我们的相机，然后在素材里找到了对应的引用。（反复讨论之后，我确定了三个卖点：360作为B机位、VFX追踪、以及场地勘景。）
For fast selects, Claude researched what Hollywood filmmakers would use our cameras for and found supporting quotes in the footage. (After some back and forth I landed on the selling points of 360 as B cam, VFX tracking and location scouting.)
你们想问的我知道——不，Claude剪不了完整的视频。我试过了。我得到的成品大概类似于《异形4：浴火重生》里Ripley发现自己的失败克隆体，克隆体看着Ripley的眼睛低声说”杀了我……”的那个场景
Before you ask, no, Claude can’t edit the full video. I tried. I got an edit akin to that scene in Alien Resurrection when Ripley discovers her failed clone and the clone looks into Ripley’s eyes and whispers “kill me...”
另外，这个流程并不完美。字幕和帧率出了点问题（很快解决了），Claude的判断也有问题（没那么快解决）。
Also, this was not a perfect process. There was an issue with captions and frame rate (quickly solved) and some bad judgment on Claude’s part (less solved).
有些事还是得用老办法——也就是干我们自己的活。但这确实省时间，而且是个很好的起点。够了。
We’ll have to do things the old-fashioned way by doing our jobs. But this saves time and is a great starting point. I’ll take that.
